Peking Garden
Chill with a good book in the grass, enjoy a picnic with friends, let the kids climb the ancient trees, have a game of jeux de boules or take a look at exceptional birds up close in the aviary.
The Peking Garden is an oasis of green in the heart of Baarn. This park was originally part of the Peking estate of Amsterdam businessman Scherenberg, who also owned the Canton mansion, and was built in the Chinese style. The houses themselves are long gone, but the park is still surrounded by villas and coach houses.
