Vechtstreekmuseum Maarssen
The Vechtstreek Museum in Maarssen is a small-scale cultural-historical museum. Located in the former Silversteyn house, which was converted in 1744 into the Goudestein coach house, one of the many country estates along the Vecht. You will also find the Maarssen Tourist Office here.
Due to its beautiful location in the park of Goudestein, on the river Vecht, the atmosphere of the seventeenth century still breathes here. The permanent collection shows the history of Maarssen, the Vecht, and the beautiful country estates. In addition, the museum organizes a temporary exhibition about the Vecht region and its artists a few times a year.
